Leslie Lee

Executive Director, Multiplatform Content Services
The Walt Disney Company (Southeast Asia)

Leslie Lee is the Executive Director of Multiplatform Content Services at The Walt Disney Company in Southeast Asia.

This includes the linear television network comprising Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney XD and related platforms covering the Southeast Asia region. He is responsible for the on-air content - programming, acquisitions, operations, localization and scheduling - and driving strategy for the company’s franchises (Disney, Disney-Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars) across multi platforms.

His passion for comics started when he was a young kid in the 70s, where he spent copious amounts of his pocket money on classic reprints of Lee/Ditko Spider-Man in Marvel Tales and Harvey Comics starring Casper and Richie Rich. Thereafter, he had his mind blown in his teenage years by John Byrne’s Fantastic Four, Frank Miller’s Daredevil, Chris Claremont’s X-Men and Walt Simonson’s Thor.

Leslie’s current comic reading diet consists of a bucket-load of Marvel, DC, Image titles and his favourite comic series of the past year is Marvel’s The Vision by Tom King.

He counts meeting Stan Lee as one of his milestones in his comic collecting life.
