STGCC 2012 draws close to 35,000 pop culture fans
The fifth Singapore Toy, Game and Comic Convention (STGCC) 2012, which was held over the weekend (1-2 September),ended on a high note this year as it sets a new record attendance, bringing together close to 35,000 local and regional visitors.

STGCC strikes with competitive gaming content
The Singapore Toy, Game and Comic Convention (STGCC) 2012 steps up the game with just two weeks away from the real action as Reed Exhibitions announced more big names on board, ranging from famous game developers to top Japanese pop culture personalities. Some of the most well-known names in the gaming industry such as Namco Bandai, Electronic Arts and Cherry Credits are bringing a series of celebrated games in the league of Tekken Tag Tournament 2, FIFA 12 and Dragon Nest SEA to the convention. Gamers will get the chance to flex their gaming muscles and fight for glory at the various tournaments. Joining the line-up of pop culture personalities from Japan, Knuckle Bear's designer TOUMA and top-notch character designer Itou Noizi will be at STGCC for the first time in Singapore.

STGCC announces new heavyweight comic and toy personalities
Coming to Singapore for the first time are leading British comic book writer, Andy Diggle, rising Japanese singer Piko and HuskyKevin, creator of the popular Hong Kong-based merchandise brand, Husky x3. World-renowned collectible production company, Hot Toys, will also be returning to STGCC with 2012 Toy Fairs Exclusive limited edition figurines of iconic characters from The Dark Knight, Captain America: The First Avenger and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. For the first time, Hot Toys will also be bringing in a team of celebrated sculptors to meet fans in Singapore.

More guest names announced as countdown to STGCC 2012 begins!
Come September, the Singapore Toy, Game and Comic Convention (STGCC) 2012 will spring into action with a highly-anticipated line-up of pop culture personalities from the East and West, STGCC-exclusive collectibles and a bevy of programmes. From STGCC's Walk of Fame to panel sessions featuring this year's pop culture personalities, from a cosplay runway featuring top cosplayers from the region to DJ battle, there is something for every pop culture fan. Seven new personalities will be joining the guest line-up at STGCC.

STGCC 2012 shines spotlight on the Asian Artists
Asian artists Andie Tong, Gerry Alanguilan, Gabby S. Tiongson and Wendy Chew will be taking the stage at the Singapore Toy, Games and Comic Convention (STGCC) 2012, adding on to the highly-anticipated line-up of well-known illustrators, toy designers and Japanese pop culture personalities at this year's convention. They will bring to STGCC their trademark art styles, which range from eccentric cartoons to gorgeous drawings.

STGCC 2012 ANNOUNCES FIRST LINE-UP OF POP CULTURE PERSONALITIES
The annual Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention (STGCC) announces its first wave of pop culture personalities for 2012. Fans in Southeast Asia can look forward to meeting Marvel Comics illustrator Mark Brooks, well-known for his stunning illustrations for Marvel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic illustrator Mark Torres and recognised kaiju (Japanese monsters) illustrator and toy designer, Mark Nagata.
